Adriano Panzironi è il guru della dieta Life 120, che promette di far vivere una vita longeva, fino a 120 anni. E' un metodo che è stato molto criticato, ma che ha raccolto consensi da parte di un folto numero di persone che si sono raccolti in una grande comunità che difende a denti stretti il suo leader. Questo reportage realizzato on assignment per Il Venerdì magazine, racconta il popolo di Life 120 durante una kermesse svoltasi a Roma.
Negli ultimi anni, Panzironi è stato sospeso dall’Ordine dei Giornalisti del Lazio per la sua attività al limite tra informazione e pubblicità. Inoltre, l’Ordine dei Medici ha sporto denuncia per abuso della professione medica, proprio per la divulgazione di regimi alimentari mai convalidati da esperti del settore e per la ‘prescrizione’ di integratori senza averne la facoltà. Infine, nel 2018 l’Antitrust ha sanzionato Panzironi per 426 mila euro, in quanto la sua trasmissione televisiva “Il Cerca salute” è stata ritenuta una sorta di televendita dei suoi prodotti, mascherata da interviste divulgative.
